Reading, Delivering, or Deleting Virus-Infected Email Messages |
With LISCO's spam-free email filtering service, virus scanning is simple: just turn virus filtering ON or OFF. It is highly recommended that you leave virus scanning on. (For instructions on how to turn virus scanning on, refer to How To Activate LISCO's Spam & Virus Filtering System.) If a virus is detected, the virus-infected message will be safely detained in your Message Center and you will be immediately notified via email. A virus-infected message is safely viewable from within your Message Center without fear of transmitting the virus to your computer's operating system or installed software. |

Disclaimer
| Although this virus protection service is constantly kept up to date through McAfee's world-wide virus tracking centers and is updated with the latest virus definitions, it is important to know that this service, and others like it, cannot guarantee that your system will never be infected. The best anti-virus solution is a layered approach that protects SMTP, HTTP, and desktop resources. |
