Reading, Delivering,
or Deleting Filtered Mail

Because LISCO's spam-free email filtering service works automatically, you don't need to do anything to ensure that unwanted or unsafe messages are blocked. Filtering takes place by itself, according to the personalized settings you've chosen. However, the process gives you the option to, if you wish, view the messages that have been filtered out, and to deliver, or delete individual messages.

The Message Center is your personal area where potential junk and virus-infected email is held. It's a good idea to review the detained messages and choose to delete or deliver them. You can also safely read the contents of a virus-infected email without the risk of harming your system, and then delete or deliver the infected email.

All email messages that have been quarantined in your Message Center are kept there, or in the Trash, for 14 days after original receipt of the messages.

It is recommended that you check your Message Center often at first so your filters "learn" to be more effective and accurate.
