LISCO's spam-free email filtering system lets you choose what categories of unwanted email you'd like to be blocked. Filter categories include sexually explicit, get rich quick, racially insensitive, and special offer. The system also lets you set the level of protection that meets your individual needs. If too many legitimate email messages are being quarantined, select a more lenient setting (or add specific senders to your approved senders list). If too many unwanted email messages aren't being blocked, select a more aggressive setting. Here's how to select the level of filter sensitivity you'd like. |
| 1. | Use your browser to go to your personal LISCO Message Center. |

| 2. | Click on the Junk Email Settings link. This will take you to the Junk Email ON-OFF page. |
|
| 3. | If the OFF button is red (indicating that junk email filtering is turned off), click on the ON button to activate email filtering. In a moment or two the ON button will turn green, indicating that junk email filtering has been enabled. |
| 4. | Use your mouse to put checkmarks in the small white circles next to the filter categories of junk email that you want blocked from your inbox. A more aggressive setting will filter out more unwanted email messages. |
| 5. | Click on the Save Changes button. LISCO's Spam-Free and Virus-Free filtering system will now block unwanted email according to the settings you've chosen. |
